Faith and Flourishing: Parchman Prison
Researchers Byron Johnson and Andrew Johnson spent 3 years conducting social science research inside the prison. This film is an introduction to their findings studying this most unusual correctional experiment and a preview of a larger film project in the works.
Global Flourishing Study
The GFS will offer insights into the determinants and consequences of well-being throughout the world. It will enable us to understand better what causes high levels of well-being, and what detracts most from human flourishing.
Program on Prosocial Behavior
Criminology's focus is limited to antisocial behavior, with almost no attention ever given to prosocial activities. Program on Prosocial Behavior emphasizes the neglected “half” of human behavior.
